An exciting opportunity for churches across the county to showcase their efforts in protecting and enhancing the biodiversity, beauty and tranquillity of their churchyards.
Why Enter?
Churchyards are not only sacred spaces but also havens for wildlife. This award recognises the vital role churches can play in environmental stewardship – celebrating those who care for these precious places in ways that benefit both people and nature.
Who Can Take Part?
Open to all churches in Norfolk – large or small, rural or urban – whether you have a wildflower meadow, a nesting box, or simply a passion for protecting your patch of God’s earth.
Prizes & Recognition
The winning Church will receive an Oak plaque award together with £1,000 prize money
