North Tuddenham Festival May 2022

North Tuddenham Festival

To celebrate the completion of repairs to St Mary’s Church Tower there will be a 3 day festival in North Tuddenham in May 2022.

Repairs that will have almost undoubtedly saved the church from imminent collapse.

Very much worth celebrating. Here are the events that are planned for the festival which takes place over the weekend of Friday 6th May, 2022.

Friday 6th May

  • Music Alive. A night of great sounds and easy listening.

Saturday 7th May

  • Farming Focus and Wildlife Wanderings.
  • Arts and Crafts for the Children.
  • Cinema in the Nave at Night.

Sunday 8th May

  • Service and Tower Dedication
  • Historical Talks and Presentations
  • Grand Finale Bonfire and Party

We will open the festival with a musical bang on Friday, 6th May as part of a range of activities aimed at bringing the North Tuddenham community together. The  “Wildlife Wanderings”  on Saturday will appeal to environmental groups around the county.

Plans for Sunday, May 8th are as follows: after a service of dedication and a cutting-of-the-ribbon around the tower, we will be holding a series of short lectures/presentations throughout the day, in the church, on a more academic level.”
