The clear, blue, Norfolk skies and the increasing of the mercury indicates that summer is on the horizon. As the days are improving, we would like to share with you details of events that the Trust has lined up for June, bringing opportunities to enjoy some summer sunshine and interesting days out.

A Day out in Walsingham – Seen Through Stained Glass and four Churches
Date: 05 June 2025 10.30am – 4pm £30pp
On Tuesday 5th June come and discover the history of Walsingham through its magnificent selection of stained and engraved glass, followed by a walking tour around four churches in the village. Open Day – Bishop’s House Garden
Date: 22 June 2025 1pm – 4.30pm (Last entry 4pm) General Admission – £5 / Free – Wheelchair Users; Accompanied Under-16s
On Sunday 22nd June join representatives of the Norfolk Churches Trust at the historic Bishop’s House Garden, the oldest private garden in Norwich. The afternoon will provide an opportunity to spend time in the garden, enjoy delicious refreshments, and meet fellow heritage enthusiasts. More information and online booking here.

Norfolk Church Towers – a talk by John – Bawdeswell Village Hall, NR20 4RU
Date: Wednesday 25 June 2025 arrive by 6.45 for 7pm – 8.30pm Members – Free, Guests £10
The subject of the second of our special talks on Norfolk churches will be focusing on church towers, and this lecture will look at the wide variety of towers in Norfolk, as John Betjeman so rightly said,
`what would you be, you wide East Anglian skies, without church towers to recognise you by‘
