This is a chance to hear Richard Strauss’ incredibly lush and powerful Violin Concerto in the format in which is was first heard in 1882 when Benno Walter played the solo part with Strauss accompanying on the piano. Alongside the Strauss, Owain Rowlands will perform a vocal ‘entente cordiale’ comprising gems from the vocal repertoire by British and French composers.

This concert is in aid of the restoration appeal for St Mary the Virgin Hillington, as the church is currently closed on safety grounds, Dersingham, St Nicholas will be hosting the concert.
