Sounds Historical’s programme explores the many aspects of early modern life which people found wonderful and awe inspiring, from mythology to mathematics, from astrology to astronomy. With a programme including works by Charpentier, Galilei, Monteverdi, Uccelini, Bach, Purcell, Van Eyck and Telemann, the music will cover early modern fascinations from inexplicable weather to a lost whale. Come along and experience this wonderful world of fantastical preoccupations through a wide range of music.
This concert is in aid of the restoration appeal for St Mary the Virgin Hillington, as the church is currently closed on safety grounds, Dersingham, St Nicholas will be hosting the concert.
