Shouldham has had a new regular event added to its calendar over the last two years,
Words and Music for All Saints’ Day,
a wonderful and atmospheric event to mark the Feast Day of our parish church. Those who have attended in the past have enthused about the unique experience, and we warmly encourage you to join us this year on
Saturday November 7th at 7pm.
Professor Ros Ballaster’s selection of poetry readings, lit by lanterns in the churchyard, (weather permitting) is followed by a selection of piano music performed by international pianist Patricia Goodson, featuring the music of Martinu, Brahms, Debussy, Chopin and others.
Tickets are £15 and include drinks and canapes in the interval,
and all money raised goes towards the restoration of the church building.
