Churchcrawls in Solitude St Andrew’s, Illington

Churchcrawls in Solitude, Episode One, St Andrew's, Illington in Norfolk with Diarmaid MacCulloch

We’ve been working with the Churches Conservation Trust on the first episode of their series of videos called “Churchcrawls in Solitude”.

The first episode appeared on YouTube on the 1st December and was a ‘crawl’ with Prof. Diarmaid MacCulloch around St Andrew Illington here in Norfolk.

St Andrew is one of our leased churches. You can read more about it here.

You can join the CCT and Prof. MacCulloch as he takes you on a journey to a remote sandy-soiled part of Norfolk called Breckland, as they visit St Andrew’s Church, Illington.

The rest of the series will be available to Members of the Churches Conservation Trust to watch on their new streaming platform CCTdigital.com from Monday 6 December.

You can take a look at all of our Leased Churches here and don’t forget, by becoming a member of the Norfolk Churches Trust you’ll be helping to protect the unique history of Norfolk for future generation. Not bad for just £30 a month.
