Octogenarian Barbara has taken part in the Sponsored Bike Ride, Drive & Walk since 2016. During that time she has single-handedly raised a fantastic £5,353 which has been shared between her church, The Salvation Army, Mile Cross, and The Norfolk Churches Trust.
Here she is all primed and ready for the 2025 event. Barbara now uses a Pedal Assist bike and last year travelled all over the city of Norwich, visiting twenty-four churches and meeting many wonderful people. This year she intends to increase the number of churches visited to twenty-six, and is looking forward to taking part again.
We love to hear the stories of the Bike Ride from people like Barbara who take part every year and are the back-bone of our event. We wish her good luck and a great day on September 13th.
