Lucy Wirgman *
Painting came to Lucy in her late 50’s, having had an uninspiring art teacher at school. I took up life drawing and is still doing courses in this in Sussex where she lives.
During the pandemic she took to painting still life’s in oils , and became absolutely passionate about it. She got a submission into the Summer Exhibition at the RA which was bought by Fortnum and Mason , and she has been exhibiting and selling ever since.
She feels very lucky that this has all come into her life and has met many wonderful people as a result. She is so pleased to help the Norfolk Churches as she has been going to the same house in Brancaster for holidays nearly every year of her life! And she hopes her children will continue this love after her.
