Celebrate Norwich’s medieval heritage with the churches in the care of the Norwich Historic Churches Trust.
The Bike Ride, Walk & Drive coincides with Heritage Open Days each year with this year’s theme being Architecture.
What better place than Norfolk which boasts around 1,000 churches to celebrate the vast array of architectural styles on offer.
If you are doing your Bike Ride, Walk & Drive in Norwich why not take in the eighteen medieval churches in the care of the Norwich Historic Churches Trust, such as St Peter Parmentergate pictured here.
Trails are available from their website, by clicking the link, or from their office at St Martin at Palace from Tuesday until Saturday, and of course they will all count in your total of churches visited on the day.
The following NHCT churches will be open (either for business as usual, or especially for HODS) and you will be able to log your visit for your sponsorship: All Saints Antiques Centre, St Ethelreda Artists Studios, St Gregory’s Antiques Centre, St Margaret’s, St Peter Hungate, St Peter Parmentergate, and St Martin at Palace. Or come along to St Martin at Palace with your selfies between 11am and 3pm, and they will be happy to sign for any closed churches within the Trust too.
