Why not come along and view a truly unique flower festival as Tunstead Church kicks off it’s 700th celebration year by “Walking Through Time” ?
Over the weekend of 8th – 10th May 2026 the volunteers of St. Mary’s are aiming to literally step into time using footwear worn throughout our lives!
This event launches a year long programme of celebrations, culminating in Summer 2027 and marking the septicentennial anniversary of the commencement of this historic Norman building.
Throughout the Medieval era, the Black Death and World War II, St. Mary’s has stood as a testament of faith, hope and tenacity. An impressive architectural building setting off the fabulous rood screen, massive nave and chancel arch.
Whether you appreciate the architecture, want to enjoy the countryside surrounding us or sample the refreshments and music, join them to see how they’re “Walking Through Time”.
Entry is free and they’d love to share the weekend with you.
