Date: 18 April 2026 10.30 am and 12.30 pm free

Do you have church textiles in need of repair or would like advice on how to care and store them?

Why not bring them along to one of our Textile Workshops as part of our Heritage Skills & Maintenance Day on Saturday 18th April?

Maria Jordan ACR, leading expert in Textile Conservation will be holding sessions throughout the day to offer advice, practical tips and the opportunity for attendees to observe repairs and have a go!

The sessions will run at 10:30 and 12.30 at St Michael’s Church, Great Cressingham. IP25 6NH

Maria will begin each session with a short introduction on church textiles and some insight into her fascinating career with both the Historic Royal Palaces and the National Trust Conservation Studio,  before moving onto practical tips.

Sessions are free but we advise you book a slot to ensure everyone can be seen.
