Last year Debbie Thackray travelled from Australia to take part, so this year we have returned the favour.
Gail and Kevin Allcock have taken part in the event for some years now, this year however, it fell on the same date as their daughter was getting married in Perth, Australia.
Unperturbed, they decided to visit some of the churches in West Australia instead, they stress they did do this over a number of days as they were a bit busy on the 13th September.
Taking in all options, they visited some by car and some using the amazing public transport system in Perth, attending services in two of their favourites and managing fourteen churches in total.
The whole trip was a very busy time with their family, but Kevin and Gail have said it was good to include these visits in their stay.
