All Saints' church, Barmer (C) Clive Dunn/PhotoFiction

The Trust manages a very popular programme of seasonal events and talks which help raise funds for the care and repair of churches across the county.

Our events programme has recently included lectures by well-known authors and broadcasters such as Earl Spencer and Lloyd Grossman and from the the world of politics, Sir John Scarlett, former head of MI6 and Lord Butler, who served as Private Secretary to five prime ministers. Other events included charity auctions, art exhibitions, concerts and receptions in historic houses not usually open to the public.

All of the money raised from these events goes directly into the Trust’s work supporting a wide range of repairs, refurbishment and conservation projects via our grants programme.
