Event Details

The South Creake Lectures take place at the Church of Our Lady Saint Mary, South Creake, NR21 9LX in September and October each year.  More details can be found here.

All talks are free to attend and you do not need to book in advance.

Tonight’s talk is by Dr Giles Waller, Research Associate Cambridge Faculty of Divinity. The title of the talk is Luther and the Theology of the Cross.

Exceptionally in 2017 we are putting on a third lecture to commemorate one of the most important events in Christian history, the 500th anniversary of the start of the Reformation when on 31st October 1517, Martin Luther is said to have nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the church in Wittenberg.
